The name
Most people hear “hole in one” and picture a sunny afternoon and a very lucky shot. We heard it differently. For anyone who has fed a deck of punched cards into an old reader, a hole in one is the dream outcome: one hole, in exactly one right place, read correctly the first time.
That idea stuck, and the club grew around it. Our visual language borrows from the continuous paper that line printers used to churn out — pale green bands to guide the eye, sprocket holes running down both edges, type that looks like it was struck rather than rendered.
Why only one game
Plenty of social casinos offer rows and rows of titles. We chose to build one and look after it properly. Clean Punch 21 is a straightforward game of blackjack with a real shuffled deck, correct scoring, a house that follows a fixed rule, and payouts that add up to the coin. Every rule is written out on the table’s own page.
Keeping to a single table also keeps us honest. There are no features designed to keep you playing longer than you meant to, no daily streaks to protect, and no shop to wander into.
What we are, and aren’t
Hole-in-One Club is a free-to-play social casino and nothing else. You play with virtual coins that are handed out for free, cannot be bought, and have no value outside the game. We don’t take wagers, we don’t pay out prizes, and we don’t sell anything. The club is intended for adults aged 18 and over who enjoy the rhythm of a card game for its own sake.
The site is written and maintained by a small independent team who care about tidy code and clear rules. It works the same wherever you open it, and your balance lives only in your browser tab — close it and the slate is wiped clean.
